Momma Cherri's Big House
2-3
Little East Street
Brighton
BN1 1HT

01273 325305

Momma Cherri’s Big House is just off Brighton’s sea front. Walk down the alley between the Thistle Hotel and Doctor Brighton’s / Queens Hotel and you’ll see the swinging sign just three doors along on the right. Momma's Big House is opposite the Town Hall steps, between In2You Tattoo and the alley made famous in the film Quadrophenia, which links Little East Street with East Street.

If you’re in town, you can get to us from North Street, the main shopping street down from the Churchill Square shopping centre. Walk down North Street until you come to a mini-roundabout. Turn right into East Street, continue along until you come to Jones the bootmakers. Little East Street is just to the right of Jones’. Look out for the street sign, which reads "Bartholomews, leading to Little East Street".

If you’re travelling to us from outside Brighton, there are various ways of doing it:
By Road

From London take the M23/A23 and stay on it until you get to the seafront.Turn right at the roundabout as you get to the seafront. Get into the right-hand lane and turn right at the first lights. The Lanes car park is ahead of you as you turn. For the other car parks, turn at the second lights and follow the signs.

Other main routes into Brighton : A259 (West from Eastbourne, Hastings and Kent towns; East from Worthing, Chichester and beyond)

By Coach or Megabus

These terminate in Pool Valley. Walk right out of the coach station, then go left, then right. You are now in Little East Street – you should see us at the bottom of the road!

Car Parks

Be warned – parking in Brighton is hard. On-street parking is very limited. And make sure you park legally – if you’re not you will get towed. The nearest car park is The Lanes but it’s small and gets full quickly. If you can’t get into the Lanes aim for either Russell Road (off West St, behind the Brighton Centre) or the main Churchill Square car park (also off West St).

Rail / Taxis

If you’ve come by train the taxi rank is right outside the station. It will cost you around £3.00 at the weekend. For going back to the station, there is a rank in East Street, just at the end of Little East Street.
But to quote the song "We don’t care how you get here but get here if you can!"
